Mayaseen publishes creative and fun books that bring forth ideas and values. We wish to instill values of peace, unity, and equality to our readers. Although our readers may have little bodies, they have big hearts!
Illustrator Lina Naddaf
Lina Naddaff was born in Syria. She graduated with a degree in Education and became a primary school teacher. After spending a few years teaching children, her imagination grew and began to transpire through her drawings. She has illustrated several children’s books all over the Arab world.
Marlo Garnsworthy is an editor, author, and illustrator. She has been editing books and teaching writing since the late 1990s and is a vetted developmental editor and copyeditor. She is on the faculty at the Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education where she teaches Writing for Children’s Books and various writing and revision workshops.
