Project Peace: Placing a Book in Every Child’s Hands

1000 copies from the first printing of Chepecho and Her Clippity Flappity Floppity Friends are being given to children affected by war and refugees through Project Peace. In addition, proceeds from the sale of Chepecho and Her Clippity Flappity Floppity Friends will go to support Project Peace.  The book will be translated into other languages, printed and then donated to children affected by war.

A book is a symbol of love, peace, and giving, it’s a letter to the young and the old. From there, an idea was born.

Our mission is to provide free books to children who have been affected by war. We wish to provide children with a sense of hope through these books.

Project Peace was established with a strong will from us to plant ideas of peace in the minds of these children. We wish to convey these ideas in creative, imaginative, and fun ways, ways that bring smiles to our readers.

By the Numbers: Refugee children receiving books around the world

In 2017:

Over 8,000 children’s books were distributed to displaced and refugee children affected by war.

– 4,000 books distributed to refugee families in Syria

– 2,000 books distributed to refugee families in Iraq

– 1,670 books distributed to refugee families in Lebanon

Additional books were also distributed in the United States, Germany, Canada, Jordan, and Yemen.
